A Star Performance for Charity
Rosa H in Lower Sixth, displayed her singing talents last weekend, when she helped raise funds at a local charity gig in Kingswood village.聽She performed as guest artist to professional singer songwriter, Anna Howie.聽Rosa鈥檚 set included a fabulous mix of jazz and pop numbers, including Gershwin鈥檚 鈥業 Got Rhythm鈥�, Adele鈥檚 鈥楽kyfall, and Billie Eilish鈥檚 鈥榊ou Should See Me in a Crown鈥�, amongst others, and she finished with a crowd-pleasing rendition of Abba鈥檚 鈥楳ama Mia鈥�. The audience loved her choice of songs, beautiful voice, and self-assured performance.聽
The show was in aid of two local charities, the Gatton Community Theatre, which offers amateur performers the opportunity to be involved in innovative theatre arts, and the Tadworth and Walton Overseas Aid Trust, a charity celebrating 40 years of helping some of the poorest communities in the world. Well done, Rosa, for a wonderful performance, and for helping to support these good causes.
