Maths Stars Go the Extra Mile
Well done to the 3 Third Years, 9 Fourth Years and 6 Fifth Years who took part in the Grey and Pink Kangaroos, the challenging follow-ups to the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge. They achieved 6 Bronze certificates, 4 Silver certificates, and 1 Gold Certificate between them, with William H (Third Year), Anthony T (Fourth Year) and Jaden T (Fifth Year) achieving Best in Year.
Even more聽congratulations聽to those who qualified for the extremely challenging Olympiads. Amritaa D and Yitong W from the Third Year qualified for the Cayley, with Yitong achieving a Merit and Best in School.聽 Nathan L, Jacob L, Nicole S and Rupert M from the Fourth Year participated in the Hamilton Olympiad, with Rupert achieving a Distinction and best in School. And from the Fifth Year, Florence N achieved a Merit and Jiayi L a Distinction and Best in School.
